Für das Programm Herbst/Winter 2017 des Kolloquiums „Politik von unten“ laden wir alle Interessierten ein, bis zum 5. September ihren Vorschlag für einen Beitrag einzureichen.
Im Kolloquium diskutieren wir seit 2011 Forschungsprojekte und Texte zu kollektivem politischem Handeln. Dies umfasst unter anderem die Themen politische Mobilisierung, Protest, soziale Bewegungen und Revolutionen. Gleichzeitig soll das Kolloquium eine Möglichkeit sein, Forscher_innen mit ähnlichen Interessen regelmäßig zu treffen.
Das Kolloquium findet 14-tägig Montags um 18:00 Uhr im Zentrum Technik und Gesellschaft der TU Berlin statt. In der Regel wird im Vorfeld ein Text verschickt und als bekannt vorausgesetzt. Diskutiert werden zum einen Entwürfe von Aufsätzen/Kapiteln (vor der Publikation); zum anderen Forschungsprojekte, die den Entwurfsstatus überschritten haben. Die Texte sollten 20 Seiten nicht überschreiten.
Als alternative Formate sind auch kurze Vorträge und Diskussionen zu aktuellen Themen möglich.

Call for Contributions: Colloquium politics from below – program fall/winter 2017
Interested scholars are kindly invited to submit their proposal for a contribution to the fall/winter program of the colloquium ‘politics from below’ by September 5th.
We have created the colloquium in 2011 to discuss research projects and texts tackling collective political action. We are looking for topics such as political mobilization, protest, social movements, and revolutions. The colloquium is also an opportunity to meet scholars with similar interests on a regular basis.
The colloquium takes place on every second Monday at 18:00 in the Center for Technology and Society at Technische Universität Berlin. Usually, we start our discussion right away based on a text that is circulated in advance. Texts may be draft chapters or articles as well as research proposals. For a dense discussion, less than 20 pages have proven to be most productive. Alternative formats include short presentations or moderated discussions.
