On 23 April at 4:00 pm (online), Ivaylo Dinev will speak about contemporary Gen Z protests, focusing in particular on their aims and outcomes. The event centres on a comparative perspective on Bulgaria and Serbia: while protests in Bulgaria achieved success after just three weeks, mobilisation in Serbia has continued for more than a year and a half. The discussion will address key interpretations, empirical insights, and open questions concerning generational framing, forms of mobilisation, and organisation. The aim is to offer a discussion that is academically grounded while remaining accessible to a broader interested audience.
Please register to participate in the event at the latest by April 22nd, using this link: https://cloud.freiheitswolke.org/apps/forms/s/jQMKL6kG2KoawHGzJTmew5zr
