The Institute for Protest and Social Movement Research (ipb) warmly invites submissions for its colloquium series “Politics from Below”. The call is addressed to researchers working in the field of protest and social movement research. The ipb colloquium offers an open space for the presentation of work in progress, the discussion of new ideas, and interdisciplinary exchange. We equally welcome contributions from researchers at all career stages, including early-career scholars as well as established researchers.
The colloquium is held in a small setting in order to facilitate a confidential exchange and intensive feedback. To ensure this, presenters are expected to participate in the other sessions as well.
We particularly welcome contributions with interdisciplinary perspectives that go beyond classical protest and social movement research.
